Form examples
With forms, Internet users can send data to you. The data is usually sent to a program called script, or CGI, that runs on the WWW-server computer. You can also set up the form in order to send data to an e-mail address (this is the most common way if you have not direct access to the server).
The forms work also on CD, if your user is connected to the Internet.
A form typically consists in one or more edit box and buttons. Each edit box has its own identifier like “firstName”, “Address”. When you press the form button, the edit box identifiers and the edit box contents are passed to the CGI program or are sent to an e-mail address. The form marker's properties determine what happens when the form is submitted.
